Few days ago, AC/DC Backtracks launched a Deluxe box of the band in limited run (cf. this news on @Guitarwink‘s Twitter account). Now, it is Gibson‘s turn to satisfy Rock’n'Roll fans, unveiling three new signature models SG Angus Young. These look great, even if the high-pitched inlays of the SG Ebony leave something to be desired… The tone of each model was edited to reproduced the original Crunch and Punch of Young’s guitar, but I was left wanting more when I listened the audio extract of the Standard SG. Despite this, these models are regardless more coherent than Gibson Stratocaster Jimi Hendrix models, even if prices are higher: $3617 for the SG Ebony, $6115 for the SG Standard Angus Cherry VOS, and $9409 for the aged and signed version.
