Le June 11th, 2013 par Joris K. | Applications iPhone | Gadgets

Created by Incident Technologies, the gTar project is a product which is maybe going to change guitar practicing. Having connected his iPhone to the dock, the user launches one of the compatibles apps with the device, and just have to play by following the notes displayed on the screen of the phone and on the fretboard. For the moment, three apps are made for the gTar, and the one which has the same name will be useful to play series of notes the most correctly and as fast as possible. When the song is finished, a scoreboard compares your skill with the one of your friends. Even if it reminds a Guitar Hero or a Misa Digital guitar, the brand highlights a real guitar feeling, with the technology and the fun stuff additionally. It could be a different way to learn guitar and experiment new tones, and even to color a stage during a show with these nice LEDs. The official release of the gTar is planned for this summer, but it is already available in pre-order for $399 in their store, in black and in white. The Monitor Black by Marshall Headphones is available

Le April 25th, 2013 par Joris K. | Gadgets

Marshall Headphones launched their first circum-oral headphones today. Evoking the same spirit as the legendary brand, the Monitor Black has a over-ear construction in black vinyl leather, with a heavy-duty cast metal inges. The double-ended coil cord can be plugged on both sides of the headphone. The empty 3.5mm socket can be used to share your music with someone else. But the most innovating thing here is the F.T.F System, which let you customize the sound, acting like a filter behind the ear cushion. The Monitor Black costs 200€, it is twice as much as the Major Black, the supra-aural model of the brand.
