Just yesterday, my friend Lawrence (from MoorTone Guitars) and I were talking about Danelectro’s construction, and especially about Masonite, a type of hardboard made of steam-cooked and pressure-molded wood that is coming on the top and the bottom of the semi-hollow bodies. We were thinking that despite this cheap material, the guitars sound very good!
In the Cardboard Chaos shows, Signal Snowboards team already built skateboards, surfs and even push bikes with cardboard. But here, the challenge was different and still original: to build a cardboard Stratocaster with a Fender Custom Shop Master Builder (no less!).
