The guitarists looking for comfortable plectrums often search “dug” plectrums, which take the shape of fingers. It is also the case of my Dugain in rosewood, but the shape is not necessarily adapted to all, or they do not adhere well to fingers. The French guitarist Daniel Patin decided to revise this ergonomics, first for him. His project, realized to the foundry of Oppidum gave so aesthetic home-made bronze plectrums that he adapted them to make pendants and now, he start to commercialize them. Declined in two models to be adapted to the needs of the “rhythmic” and the “soloists” guitarists, they start to be, at a price more affordable than the Dugain: 12 €.

If there is a thing that I like, it is to collect musical gadgets. Recently offered by close friends whom I want to thank now, this very attractive Fender mouse pad is perfect to show an addiction to guitars and IT! Besides being flexible, soft, and good quality, its shape and its colors are a Stratocaster Fiesta Red, looking like the American Vintage ’62 that I tried few times ago. And if you prefer Telecasters, this model should please you.

The scratches are a big problem for maniacs of their instruments. More visible than the Scratch Pad but also more attractive, this neoprene accessory signed Pull Your Cards is a solution that you can fix to your belt with a velcro to keep your guitar clean. You can order for one here, prices start at 13,90€ for standards models.

Mixing their passion for the stringed-instruments making and their talent in mechanics, Sébastien Dreyer and Jérémy Sachoux created MeloDuende, a project from the city Semur in Bourgogne (France). Thanks to a fabrication with aluminum and wood, their guitars offer a hot and reactive sound, a powerful attack and a nice sustain. At first intimist, the production of these nice single-cuts begins to be successful in France. We find standard models like the Tangerine, Black Mama, Icebreaker AK and Hunter, but also custom models. Even if prices are between 2750 et 3100€ due to a meticulous homemade, they let us dream. Other forms Flying V and Tele will arrive this year.
